Adjective

Adjectives are words that can be used to describe a noun. (विशेषण वे शब्द हैं जिनका उपयोग किसी संज्ञा का वर्णन करने के लिए किया जा सकता है।) If I asked you to describe a tiger you will say something like, large, wild, orange, black striped, dangerous. All these words are adjectives for a tiger. These words give you an idea of what a tiger is. 

There are also words that can act as adjectives which may not seem like it on first glance. 

My, your, his, hers (possessive) What, whose (interrogative) and some, several, all (indefinite) are examples of adjectives.
