Conjunction
Conjunctions are essential for the formation of a sentence because they join words, phrases, clauses and other parts of the sentence to give a complete meaning. They also establish some relation between these two parts. (वाक्य के निर्माण के लिए संयोजक आवश्यक हैं क्योंकि वे शब्दों, वाक्यांशों, उपवाक्यों और वाक्य के अन्य भागों को जोड़कर पूरा अर्थ देते हैं। वे इन दोनों भागों के बीच कुछ संबंध भी स्थापित करते हैं।) They include:
- Coordinating : The two parts being joined are equal in structure like two independent clauses. E.g. and, but, for, so
- Subordinating: Connect an independent and a dependent clause. This can be done to create contrast, cause and effect, and show their relationship. E,g, when, unless,though etc.
- Correlative: They always come in paris and connect similar types of sentence parts like coordinating conjunctions. E.g. either….or. …., , neither…..nor…….
