Parts of Speech

All languages are composed of words, and each word can have some specific role or roles that they have within the language. The word “Fox” is used for an animal, “Read” is a word that shows an activity, and “very” being a word that shows a degree or amount of something. 

Based on this we can give the following definition for Parts of Speech: 

Definition: The parts of speech are  the various roles that words play and are a way to categorize words (भाषण के भाग विभिन्न भूमिकाएँ हैं जो शब्द निभाते हैं और शब्दों को वर्गीकृत करने का एक तरीका है).  These categories or parts include:
